The Punakaiki Beach Camp- Your Home Base to Explore Punakaiki and the Paparoa National Park!

Located between the beach, river and national park, the Punakaiki Beach Camp is truly a paradise holiday destination.

Whether staying in a cabin, powered or non-powered site, you can be sure to hear the ocean crashing and the birds singing. An ideal spot for a couple of nights stay for the whole family!


Punakaiki Beach Camp facilities

The Punakaiki Beach Camp has 30 powered sites available all spacious and very scenic. Non-powered sites allow for more choice on where to camp, either next to the beach, surrounded by native bush or closer to the facilities for the kids. All sites include hot showers and use of kitchen facilities.

The Cabins are your next step up from camping, plenty of options are available for families of any size. The large family cabin includes basic kitchen supplies.

All Cabins include the use of communal areas which includes, large kitchens, shower and toilets and laundry facilities.

The Punakaiki Beach Camp also has two magnificent holiday houses to rent. One in Punakaiki and another 50 minutes north at the beautiful Tauranga Bay. Both holiday houses boast high standard amenities, with gorgeous sea views and entertainment areas. These homes are great for small groups and families.


Beach Camp Surroundings

The camp is tucked in between the Punakaiki beach, Pororari river and towering limb stone cliffs.  The famous Pancake rocks are a short walk away and most of the activities are close by.
